Presenters

Michelle Arnett, RDH, BS, MS, Assistant Professor, Division of Dental Hygiene, University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Michelle graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM) School of Dentistry in 2004 with her certification in Dental Hygiene and a Bachelor of Science. She began working in private clinical practice and had a fulfilling clinical career for ten years before pursuing a graduate degree. Michelle’s interest in education and research led her to the University of Michigan (U-M) School of Dentistry where she obtained a Master of Science in Dental Hygiene (MSDH) in 2016. She taught in the U-M entry-level and degree-completion DH programs, she was a clinical research coordinator, and practicing dental hygienist in the U-M Department of Graduate Periodontics. She joined the University of Minnesota in 2018 as a Tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Primary Dental Care.
